I needed to share these pinstripe pants. They are stretchy, funky, and the best part: they were $14.99 at Marshall’s.
In terms of the brand of the pants, the brand does not currently have social media accounts, however, I guarantee you could find something similar in the pants sections of Marshall’s or TJ Maxx, and a higher price point at Free People.
The outfit doesn’t come with the coffee, but it was a necessity when Reed Alyson and I came across the cutest coffee shop in the Alphabet District in Portland. Her IG accounts are @reedalyson and @reedalysonphotography. If you want to check out her website, it is reedalyson.com.
I’ve always been a been skeptic of printed pants, because solid black pants have been a staple of mine for easy outfit pairing. But these ones go so well with a black top and even my wide brim hat (the outfit was a hit in Portland). I’m telling you, you will get people saying something if you throw on a pair of pinstripe pants. It’s bold.
Given how bold the pants are, I recommend pairing them with neutrals, especially black.
I gave the outfit more movement and went with a top with flowy sleeves, and I chose to wear my Sperry’s to keep the outfit more quirky than editorial. I wore my hair natural (it doesn’t take to tools anyway) and no jewelry was needed!
This outfit was great in the “Keep Portland Weird” movement, but you better believe I’ll be sporting it for meetings and future fashion events in Seattle.
